A juicy, berry-ripe red with full-bodied layers of red fruit and a whiff of smoke. Good grip on the palate. Decant for 1-2 hours. Perfect for potlucks and casual get-togethers. This wine is a beautiful blend of Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes. Great value.

Syrah Mourvèdre food pairings: French breads, cheeses, sausages, lamb cutlets, herbed chicken.

A blend of Syrah and Mourvèdre with plentiful red berry and sweet fruit notes on the nose and palate. Soft and integrated tannins offer just the right support for this easy-drinking wine. A stunning effort, at a very exciting price, this closes with a lightly toasted and fruity finish. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Nov. 2012
