CedarCreek Estate Winery CedarCreek Pinot Noir 2010
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
CedarCreek Estate Winery CedarCreek Pinot Noir 2010 Wine Review
A gorgeous pinot with aromas and flavours of black cherry and some dark spice. Medium-bodied and silky smooth. Complex and rich with a long finish. Perfect for meaty fish dishes such as seared tuna. 4.6/5 Pinot Noir food pairings: planked salmon, duck.

|Our very best wines are bottled as Platinum. It’s our reminder that the choices we make have to add up to one better than gold. Made from clones 114, 115, 667, and 777, the Platinum Pinot Noir was cane-pruned and cropped to one cluster per shoot. Hand-harvested at CedarCreek and Greata Ranch, we aged the 2008 vintage 16 months in 100% French oak from Coopers Dargaud & Jaegle, Remond, Cadus, Mercurey and Francois Frères. Without these details, our Pinot Noir wouldn’t be Platinum. And the results show in every bottle. On that, you have our word.|
