Nick Onischuk Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

The Cattail Creek Barrel Fermented Small Lot Chardonnay 2010 is a great full bodied wine full of apple, peach and buttery notes. Tasted October 7,2013 87/100
Rich and robust with buttered toast, coconut oil, baked apple, pineapple and smoke aromas. On the palate, a juicy fruit core and creamy mouthfeel, with bright acidity underlying ripe fruit and smoky notes, all leading to a buttery, toasty finish. Very successful oaked style of Niagara Chardonnay. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, July 2013

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
