A full-bodied, rich and layered Californian Pinot Noir with fleshy ripe black cherry and mocha. Santa Barbara is a cool climate though this red wine shows like a richly ripened one from a warmer region.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is a medium-bodied, elegant Pinot Noir from California's cool Pacific coast region of Santa Barbara. Medium ruby colour with aromas and flavours of red berries, sour cherry, cassis, baking spices, black earth, and sniff black pepper. Smooth in the mouth with bright cleansing acidity. A lingering berry finish that patiently awaits the next gulp. Perfect gift wine. Enjoy over the next 3-5 years. Worth the $30 investment.
Tasted: January 2016
The estate grown and bottled Californian Pinot is certified sustainable. This single-vineyard wine is made from grapes grown in the Jackson Family's Santa Maria Valley winery vineyards. - Community Wine Reviews
