Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Strawberry and chocolate lead the aromas in this fuller bodied red blend of Merlot, Zinf, Petit Sirah, with splashes of Syrah, Petit Verdot, Carignan, Cinsault and Valdiguie. It's deep ruby colour is an indication of wieghtiness and richness with chocolate repeated on the palate as well as caramel, toasted oak, vanilla and leather. The tannins are polishing and there's a welcome cleansing acidity. A long finish of cherry cola and vanilla. Perfect for grilled red meats. Enjoy this wine over the next 3-5 years.

Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

Alex: A real weighty pie-like Californian Field blend, comprising primarily of Merlot and Zinfandel. Full-bodied, and loaded up with extremely ripe red fruits, textured like a plush bathrobe, however short and sweet on the finish. Very little tannin or acid, meant for drinking right away and in my opinion, on its own. Delivers a load of jammy fruit for the money if that's what you seek. 83pts
Owned by Boisset Family Estates Collection, Buena Vista (beautiful view) was founded in 1857 in Sonoma by Count Agoston Haraszthy who laid the foundations (and vines) for viticulture in the region. This is a full-bodied and unusual blend of Merlot, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault, ValdiguiƩ and Petit Verdot grapes. - Community Wine Reviews
