Natalie's Score: 88/100

Dry, crisp and refreshing white wine made from the native Assyrtiko grape. Zesty notes of grapefruit and lime. A P.D.O. quality-designated wine. Nice aperitif or companion to seafood, salads and vegetarian dishes. Lemon freshness and medium body makes this a great companion to seafood.

Food pairings: seafood, salads, vegetarian dishes, shellfish.

More Wine Reviews and Ratings

Doug Mcmillan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lemon, line, apricot with subtle notes of pear and peach. The taste is lemon & apricot. This wine is brightly acidic, like a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc without the vegetal notes. An excellent wine for both seafood and creamy pasts.

This was especially good with a chicken Alfredo with a lemon & garlic sauce.
This zesty Greek white wine offers green apple and lime notes. Lots of mouth-watering acidity. Medium-bodied - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
