Nov 8, 2013: Ordered through Vintages on-line bin end. Deep ruby with intense nose of blackberry, cassis, eucalyptus and wood smoke. No surprise on the palate with a repeat of flavors from the nose along with a touch of wood spice. Medium full body, fine soft tannins and juicy acidity lead to a medium long finish with blackberry and menthol notes. Drink now and over the next 4-5 years with braised beef, lamb or pasta with a hearty meat sauce. At $20, there is more on my way, so hurry while still available.
