Tamarind Date Garam Masala Chutney

Tamarind Date Garam Masala Chutney

Ingredients:

1 cup pitted dates
1 tbsp. tamarind paste
½ tsp. salt or salt to taste
½ tsp. Arvinda’s Garam Masala
¼ tsp. chili powder (add more or omit, according to taste)


Method of Preparation:

Wash and soak 1 cup of pitted dates. Soak overnight or 5-6 hrs in a warm water.

In a blender add dates with liquid, tamarind paste, salt Arvinda’s Garam Masala and chili powder.

Combine all the ingredients until smooth.

Serve with samosas or any Indian appetizer.


Complementary Wines: Icewine/Eiswein, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Rosé: Champagne and Sparkling Wine, Viognier
