Reviews and Ratings

Courtney Flood rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, melon. Crisp acidity but I was pleasantly surprise at the touch of residual sugar adding lots of fruitiness. Touch of grassiness on the finish but not much.
Travis Oke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Ontario Sauvignon Blanc at its best at this price point.
Grassy
Gooseberry
That's all I want in a Sauvignon Blanc!
Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The 2011 Jackson-Triggs Reserve Series Sauvignon Blanc is a light bodied wine with very appealing, intense aromas of pear, limestone, honey dew melon and leechie. It has a good acidity, nice minerality and a medium finish that lacks fruit when contrasting the intense aromas. It is a food friendly as well as sipping wine. My impression: NICE, 88 pts – reasonably good value at $13.95. Tasted Oct/12.
Jason Solanki rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Screw top. Clean, refreshing lime gooseberry, and herbal aromas give way slight earthiness. Light-bodied with replays of lime, gooseberry, and grass on palate. Has a very fine acidic backbone, medium finish that is a touch hot. Tasted Oct/2012.
Mark Britton rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

This is what you should expect from an Ontario Sauvignon Blanc. Fresh with lively acidity, this wine shows vegetal notes with asparagus and grass, plus some nice stone fruit coming through. There isn't a ton going on here, but a very refreshing and drinkable sauvignon blanc.
Drink Wine and Giggle Gals rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Like a flight from Frankfurt to Toronto in one of the best seats in economy, this welcoming sauvignon blanc makes any journey comfortable. Best enjoyed during a question and answer session with girlfriends fresh off the plane, this sauvignon blanc is a great way to quickly reach catching up altitude.
Nina rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Lovely Sauvignon Blanc!
First fruits on the palate, then a little herb, grass notes. Very fresh, acidity is balanced. Medium finish.
Susan Desjardins reviewed this wine as follows:

This wine appeals with a lovely blend of tropical fruit and subtle lemongrass and herbal notes. Dry, mid-weight, with a fresh, lively texture, it energizes the palate with pithy grapefruit and gooseberry flavours, and a lingering clean finish. Serve with a herbed lemon goat cheese appetizer.
The 2011 Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp and refreshing white wine with intense
notes of grapefruit and asparagus with vegetal and grassy undertones. On the
palate this wine is as fresh and clean as the nose indicates with lively acidity and a lingering finish.
