The Juice Wine Company Gamay from Ontario’s Twenty Mile Bench is a dry, light-bodied red with low tannins and moderate alcohol. It opens with vibrant notes of crushed red berries—think tart cherry, cranberry, and a touch of red plum—with a subtle earthy undertone that adds depth. The finish is juicy and mouthwatering, like biting into the first perfectly ripe strawberry of the season. Serve it slightly chilled with grilled sausage, margherita pizza, or roast chicken with herbs. The freshness in this wine makes it a fantastic match for weeknight favourites and casual dinners with friends. The winery, launched just a few years ago, is already being watched closely for its quietly confident, terroir-driven wines. This Gamay is like your funniest friend at a dinner party—bright, energetic, and full of great stories that don’t overpower the room.
