This is such a fantiastic summer red, bright and juicy, with aromas of fresh strawberry, cranberry and red cherries, along with a slight earthy-barnyard note. Medium bodied with moderate acidity on the palate, vibrant red fruit and berry notes on the palate, and again that earthy note on the finish. Would pair perfectly with pork, salmon, grilled veggies, or marinated chicken kebabs - pretty much anything on your summer menu!

The Juice Wine Company Gamay Noir 2024, Twenty Mile Bench, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: The Juice Wine Company Gamay from Ontario’s Twenty Mile Bench is a dry, light-bodied red with low tannins and moderate alcohol. It opens with vibrant notes of crushed red berries—think tart cherry, cranberry, and a touch of red plum—with a subtle earthy undertone that adds depth. The finish is juicy and mouthwatering, like biting into the first perfectly ripe strawberry of the season. Serve it slightly chilled with grilled sausage, margherita pizza, or roast chicken with herbs. The freshness in this wine makes it a fantastic match for weeknight favourites and casual dinners with friends. The winery, launched just a few years ago, is already being watched closely for its quietly confident, terroir-driven wines.
