Full-bodied, fairly smooth Ontario red wine blend of 49.5% merlot, 37.2% cabernet sauvignon and 13.3% cabernet sauvignon grapes. This wine is 100% barrel aged which adds lots of toasty oak, smoke and vanilla spice to the flavour profile. Pair with meat lovers' pizza.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A lovely blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, showing great dark red fruit, smoke, and pepper on the nose. The palate is expressive with red fruit, prune, cocoa and a cool herbaceousness - great with a grilled steak steak salad.
Smoke & Gamble Reserve (2015) is a full-bodied, deliciously supple, Bordeaux-style red wine blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Most of the grapes for this wine were sourced from vineyards in Niagara, with a smaller portion coming from the winery's vineyards in Norfolk County. Drink now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews
