Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

A full bodied, richly concentrated Amarone. Delightful on the nose and palate. Stewed berries, dried prune, leather, tomato leaf. Medium plus acidity, integrated 15.5% alcohol, medium plus tannins. Well balanced and ready to enjoy. Pairs well with roasted stuffed chicken breast and black olive tapenade with capers. Tasted 2010 vintage decanted 2h in Feb 2018. Tasting great now. 93 points
This Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico from the Veneto wine region is a monster red with smoke and dark, fleshy fruit wafting right out of the bottle. D.O.C. Sartori Corte Brà (2010). is a delicious, savoury, rich and intense mouth-watering Amarone that would benefit from a little more cellar time to mature and come together. - Community Wine Reviews
