Spicy, racy and seductive with peppered wild forest blackberries in its dark heart. Robust, supple and smooth. The Malbec grapes for this BC red wine are grown in the southern Okanagan Valley on the Osoyoos Bench. Pair with grilled meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Tasting this Southern Osoyoos bench Malbec was beautiful. Deeply concentrated, rich dark berry , dark plum and a Hint of violet. Mouthwatering acidity. Well balanced. Declared 14.4% ABV. Perceived interesting medium high alcohol. Pairs well with authentic thin crust pepperoni pizza or braised red meat. Tasted March 2017. 91 points. Fantastic BC Malbec. Enjoy!
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Enchanting black plum, cassis, and prominent floral (violet) aromas lead the way to some smooth rich concentrated berry, licorice, leather and anise flavours. The palate shows a smooth velvety mouthfeel, juicy acidity and long plummy finish. Enjoy this full bodied BC Malbec with braised beef tacos. Tasted Mar 2017 - @sommsosa | bespoketastinsg.ca
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Robust and full bodied! Aromas of dark berry along with a bit of a floral note and almost a hint of cherry cola. Full bodied, medium-high acidity, balanced with smooth dark fruit characteristics, and smooth, velvety tannins. Enjoy with a marinated flank steak or grilled vegetables topped with an aged balsamic vinegar.
Only in the best vintages do we produce a single varietal Malbec. 2014 was one of these vintages. Ripe tannins and well integrated acidity assist in exploding the fresh berry notes.
