Reviews and Ratings

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a rosé for all seasons. At 13.2% alcohol it has some heft to stand up to food pairings, but could also be enjoyed on it's own. It's a wine of contradiction; the nose is delicate with aromas of strawberry and rhubarb but on the palate it's medium bodied. 100% Pinot Noir from a Winery known for it's Pinot's - this would be a great wine for your cellar year round. Pair with Salmon Burgers in the spring/summer and pulled pork or Thai dishes in the winter/fall. Tasted April 26/2019 California Wine Fair
From California, Meiomi 2017 is produced from mostly Pinot Noir from grapes sourced from Monterey, Sonoma and Santa Barbara counties. Each region has its specialty -- Monterey giving vibrant acidity and minerality to the grapes; the ripe red fruit and intensity from Sonoma, and balance and texture from the Santa Barbara wine grapes. This is a refreshing rosé with ripe strawberry, watermelon and citrus flavours on the palate. Chill and pair it with grilled chicken breasts. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
