Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Grilled nuts, dried fig, honey, date square, and a hint of dried citrus. Truly remarkable wine. How they sell for so little is beyond me. 94 points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Priya: This is your granny's sherry! Sweet and rich and won't take much to get you tipsy. Yummy but too sugary for me. 84 pts

Alex: Hah if your granny drinks this then she's a connoisseur, and you should sit down with her over a bottle and a game of cards! This is a cream sherry, predominantly Oloroso style with ~20% Pedro Ximenez blended in. Similar to a 20 year tawny port, with toffee, molasses and candied walnut blanketing the nose. Pungent, sweet and refined, and very easy drinking. Quite long in the finish, this serves up a wallop of concentration for the price. A fine sherry accessible to the masses. 90 pts
