Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Freshly cut grass with cracked white pepper on the nose with poached pear on the palate with a hint of roasted green pepper and fennel. Easy drinking and good varietal character, with a typical savoury finish. Try with a white bean and fresh tuna salad. @wrightwineblog
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A unique and zesty Grüner Veltliner from Domäne Wachau. An abundance of green fruit and leaves shine amongst lemon curd, lime zest, green apple, stony rocks and flavours of white citrus, peach, shallots, garlic scapes, limestone and graphite. Brisk, mouthwatering acidity with a light body and finish. Spry elements of graphite, cedar and smoke notes persisting into the back. An awesome accompaniment to seafood ceviche or sushi. 88 points - tasted December 2019
Love this fresh and zesty Gruner from the Domane Wachau. Terrassen Federspiel Gruner Veltliner is a zesty Austrian white wine made from this country's classic white wine grape. Look for lemongrass, pear, grapefruit and briny mineral flavours on the palate. Pair veal schnitzels, fried chicken or Boursin, Feta, Raclette and Taleggio cheese. - Community Wine Reviews
