Reviews and Ratings

Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The strength of this rosé is its balance, which is created from a blend of two grapes: Viura and Grenache - where 75% of the blend is Grenache. This wine has moderate red fruit notes on the palate with delicate floral notes, leaving a smooth and appealing texture in the mouth. At a medium acidity, it is an honest and simple wine for day to day consumption. This wine proves again that Spain offers good wines for a great price! Quite a steal!
From the Rioja wine region, Conde Valdemar 2018 is a great value rosé under $15 from Bodegas Valdemar. Made from Grenache and Viura wine grapes, lovely strawberry, raspberry, red plum flavours on the palate finishing long with clean mineral notes on the palate. Chill and enjoy with grilled scampi shrimp. - Community Wine Reviews
