Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This Sicilian white wine is 100% Insolia, a grape that grows mainly on the west side of the island. The bottle shape is unique- short, stout and heavy. Certainly stands out in a wine-tasting Orange aroma with a floral, fruity palate, including melon flavours. Smooth through to the finish. Serve with seafood appetizers, and roasted poultry, including turkey.
Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

My first taste of the Insolia grape from Sicily and I loved it. It is intensely floral and tropical at the same time. Full in the mouth it shows sweet melon and white flowers, with orange blossom and ripe yellow peach. Great price, great packaging, great wine. Try with with roasted tomato, garlic and bread salad and parma ham @wrightwineblog
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This is a light and fresh wine made from the Insolia (Ansonica) grape, native to Sicily. Aromas include while flowers, melon, and macadamia nut. Light-medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel from some lees aging, more smooth nutty hints, and a touch of honey. Enjoy with fresh shellfish or green vegetable dishes.
Bianca Resilience 2018 is produced from 100% Insolia wine grapes, hand-harvested, then fermented and left to rest on its lees in stainless-steel tank for five months giving this wine structure, finesse and a creamy mouthful of soft orange, ripe peach and tropical fruit flavours creamy on the palate. Great acidity for seafood. Pair with grilled prawns. - Community Wine Reviews
