This is another great Valpolicella from producer Zenato. Founded in 1960, Zenato is one of the most iconic and trusted names in all of wine industry. For more than half a century, Zenato has concentrated on making premium wine in Veneto. Full-bodied, juicy and tasty with attractive dark red berries and cedar smoke. Perfect for so many dishes with robust flavours. Lots of mouth-watering acidity. Pair with pastas in meat sauce or sausages. Great value in this robust Italian red wine from the Valpolicella region that finishes with attractive black fruit notes.

Valpolicella Superiore food pairings: pasta in a thick tomato sauce, meat lasagna.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Dark garnet colour with cherry, vanilla and sweet spice aromas. The lively mouthwatering palate shows brighter notes of cherry, leather and spice. A very flavourful, elegant example of the Valpolicella style. Enjoy with charcuterie, olives and hard cheeses.
