Reviews and Ratings

Jeff Wilson rated this wine as 88/100
Carola Price rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Clear and deep red. Cassis, mint leaf, vanilla and baking chocolate in the nose. In the mouth there is chocolate covered cherry and vanilla bean. Slightly overly sweet for my palette but I love using it to make a delicious coq au vin. The alcohol and body keep the sauce rich while the sweetness mellows the chicken, garlic and onions. Pair with softer cheeses like Saint Andre and Chaumes or keep it simple and order a fully loaded meat pizza.

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

This is a great value California Cabernet Sauvignon rich in ripe red fruit and balanced medium tannins and acidity. Enjoy with BBQ beef burgers or tacos. Tasted Oct 2016 - bespoketastings.ca
