Reviews and Ratings

Neil Phillips rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A lovely passe-tout-grains style red blend of Gamay Noir and Pinot Noir from Vinemount Ridge.

Aromas of dried herbs, strawberry, sour cherry, slight baking spices. On the palate, a little juicier with same fruits and lush red plums as well. Peppery-clove finish. Well-balanced

Light-ish 11.9% ABV (as labelled), this is perfect for warm summer evenings.

Tasted July 2020.
Paula Bernardino rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I was really curious and excited to discover Westcott Vineyards’ Temperance. As mentioned on the label: “a rebel at heart, this gamay-noir pinot-noir blend is approachable and complex”. Light red colour in the glass. Aromas and flavours of cherries. I paired it with a Lebanese poutine which was great with the mix of roasted potatoes and cheese. 11.9 alcohol.? Lovely creative attractive label. The 2018 vintage is available at the SAQ (SAQ code: 14209964 ) at $19.95. The 2019 vintage can be purchased directly on the winery’s website: https://www.westcottvineyards.com/collections/our-wines/products/2019-temperance

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
