Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

An inky black explosion of coffee and mocha with twists of licorice and a finish laced with heavy dark molasses. Notes of tar, wrapped in rose petals - a mouth filling glass, make sure you're sitting down. No obvious sign of ageing, perfectly fresh for a 2006. Try with salted dark chocolate truffles
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This Ports has a fairly tight nose still that eventually offers up aromas of cherry and fig. The palate is still fresh and rich with raisin, fig and cloves. Rich and smooth and a delight from the start through the long, impressive, spicy finish. Good structure, good balance. Tasted October 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Warre's Quinta Da Cavadinha 2006 Vintage Port (bottled in 2008) is produced with wine grapes sourced from the Cavadinha vineyard in the Upper Douro. Fruit cake and sweet spice flavours delivered on a smooth palate. Enjoy now and for the next 15 years -- if it lasts that long. - Community Wine Reviews
