This Australian Cabernet Sauvignon offers sweet blueberry fruit and vanilla spice flavours on the palate. It's a good value. Juicy, full-bodied, rich palate. Aromas of mint and blackberry on the nose. Pair with juicy meat lovers pizza.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: hearty meat dishes, hard cheese, juicy rare steak, barbecued ribs in sauce, hamburger..

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

An award-winning fragrant Cab from Australia's Clare Valley, giving appetizing aromas and flavours of raspberry pie, cassis, nutmeg, dark chocolate and mint. Luscious mouthfeel and lingering finish; easy to see why this bottle wears so many awards! Share with your favourite Cab - lover over a rare steak or roast lamb. Excellent value.

Fantastic value under $20 for this Wakefield 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Clare Valley, South Australia. This is a juicy, full-bodied garnet red wine with a spicy nose and rich black fruits, meat, leather, cedar spice and vanilla flavours on the palate. This is your strip loin on the barbie red. This vintage was awarded Gold at the China Wine & Spirits Awards Best Value 2018. - Community Wine Reviews
