A lovely South African Chenin Blanc with floral notes, lanolin and beeswax. Unctuous and mouth-filling. Perfect for veal or pork chops.

Chenin Blanc food pairings: cold turkey sandwiches, crab cakes with aioli, grilled seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Sharon Aubie rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Bouquet of straw with honey. Flavours are herbal and citrus. Wine has well balanced acidity. It's quite delightful.

Great sipper on its own or pair with grilled chicken.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Apple and pear aromas with some melon and lemon notes on the palate. Mineral notes appear towards the finish. Well balanced with nice acidity. Pair with crab cakes or shrimp scampi.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Super fun and playful. This reminds me of ultra-ripe, old-vine Loire, with minerally notes circulating the apple, pear/quince, kumquat and stone fruit notes. 89 Points.
This zesty and medium-bodied Chenin Blanc from Clarksburg, Sacramento Valley in California is from Vinum Cellars' Vinum V Series 2015. Great value on this crunchy green apple, lemon and lime zest flavoured Chenin Blanc. Pair with green salads, or freshly grilled seafood. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
