Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This 80% Cinsault/ 20% Syrah has flinty notes on the nose and palate. Some subtle rhubarb in play on the palate. Smooth and easy to sip on its own or with light pasta or chicken salad. Tasted June 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Great value rose with plenty of watermelon, cherry, and strawberry aromas. Fresh with floral and spice suggestions. Extra dry with crisp acidity and a mild bitterness on the finish. Enjoy al fresco with cheese and crackers, or grill up some chicken for a summer dinner.
From the Languedoc wine region, Typic 2018 is fantastic value under $14. This rosé is a blend of equal amounts of Cinsault and Syrah wine grapes, floral and fresh red berry fruit with dried savoury herb aromas on the nose. Great acidity for food with ripe red berry, savoury spice and dried herb flavours on the palate. Excellent for the price. Pair with grilled pork ribs and BBQ chicken. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
