Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Excellent price point, and tons of flavour. Aromas of plum, blackberry, earth, smoke, and spice. Full bodied, with soft tannins, medium acidity, and ripe fruit and berry notes. Warm earth, leather and spicy hints on the finish. Enjoy with burgers or any grilled meats.
The Winery Of Good Hope 2019 Pinotage is fragrant with bright plum, dark berry and smoky aromas on the nose. Juicy and fresh with dark plum, brambleberry, espresso, dark chocolate, savoury herb and smoky flavours on the palate. The Pinotage wine grapes for this vintage received full-berry fermentation, keeping the wine fresh and juicy with good acidity. Pair with burgers and ribs. - Community Wine Reviews
