Reviews and Ratings

Malcolm Lamont - WSET Adv, CSW rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This wine is a show-stopper, with beautiful aromatic lift, and is texturally divine.
Yes please.
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

On the nose, tart cherry, stewed strawberry, autumn leaves, sweet spice, violet, and a hint of anise.

On the palate, there's lovely harmony between the tannins that are present but well integrated and the lively acidity of the wine. In terms of flavours, we are more on the dark fruit spectrum with tart plum and blackberry with notes of cocoa and an espresso finish.

Tasted at the Taste Ontario event in April 2019.

Wine-Food Pairing: This would pair perfectly with grilled red meat.
Tawse Grower's Blend 2015 is a mouth-watering, cool-climate Cabernet France from the Peninsula wine region. Fragrant with ripe dark berry, crushed raspberry, flinty aromas on the nose. Dry, medium-plus-bodied, supple and smooth with wild herb, wild raspberry, red plum and flinty flavours finishing long on the palate. Elegant and balanced. This vintage was awarded Silver at the 2019 National Wine Awards of Canada. - Community Wine Reviews
