Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A highly aromatic Australian Cab, with a flavourful palate that shows blackcurrant, mint and slight savoury notes. Silky texture, excellent acidity and delicious lingering blackcurrant finish. Great choice with beef or venison.

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Wild strawberry and blueberry aromas as well as red licorice, sweet spice and a touch of cedar. On the palate, there is wonderful acidity levels and flavours of ripe blueberries with velvety tannins that are well integrated.

From Nagambie Lakes, Victoria Tahbilk (2014) is a robust and intense Australia Cabernet Sauvignon from Nagambie Lakes, Victoria. Tahbilk traces its winemaking roots back to 1860 with the founding of the winery estate and vineyards. It was purchased by modern day owner winemaker's great grandfather Reginald Purbrick in 1925 and since then five generations of the family have been involved. This vintage was awarded Gold at the Queensland Wine Show '16. Drink now and for the next 10 years. - Community Wine Reviews
