Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This lively Riesling from Niagara Peninsula winery Strewn takes a page from its “mother ship” Riesling appellation in Mosel, Germany.
Enticing aromas of freshly cut pineapple, ripe peach and lime juice carry through to a crisp finish. Beautiful balance of sweet and crisp.
Pair with white fish and a mango salsa glaze.
Tasted May 2021.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2018 Strewn Wine Maker’s Art is a gift for fans of aromatic, fuller bodied rieslings. From my glass emerged scents of rich tropical, ripe stone fruit plus some subtle stoney minerality. On the flavour front, ripe stone fruit flavours such as yellow peaches and nectarines grabbed my attention. Off dry and medium bodied, this riesling craves spicy food.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This "winemaker's art" Riesling is lovely, with beautiful body and balance. Aromas of pineapple, pear, and peach with hints of stoney minerality. Off-dry, medium bodied, rich and lovely, with beautiful ripe fruit, bright acidity, and a nice mineral finish. This is a wine that would certainly stand up to a bit of spice in your favourite dish.
