This superb, full-bodied Californian Cabernet sources fruit from three regions: Paso Robles, Lodi and Monterey. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is then matured in American oak barrels for nine months. Aromas of fleshy ripe blackberries and plums wrapped in smoke. Pair with grilled meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely and robust! Aromas of ripe, jammy blackberries and plums, along with oaky smoke and dried herbs including mint. Full bodied, smooth on the palate, with nice vibrant acidity, lots of ripe black fruit and berries, and a hint of smoke on the finish. Enjoy with grilled steak or ribs.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The Slow Press Cabernet Sauvignon is an easy drinking California wine, that shows aromas of prune, dark cherry, dark pepper, clay dust, leather, cocoa and oak. The 2017 vintage delivers grippy tannins, supple acidity and a full body. This delicious Cab Sauv provides flavors of ripe cherry, red currant, black pepper, graphite, leather, mocha, spice and oak, and a warm and coating finish. Enjoy!
