Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Soft blackberry, raspberry and fresh tobacco and a hint of newly-chiseled-cigar box. Flavours reveal strawberries, cherries, pretty spicy red plums with a touch of finely ground black pepper heat at the end. Acidity is well balanced and there tannins are present but on the mild side. Delicate and distinct. Suitable salmon and salad sipper! 88 points - tasted August 2018
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Christmas tree, underbrush meets fruit forward raspberry. Zesty, balanced, medium bodied, mouthwatering acidity. Paired well with saucy wings. Tasted 2017 vintage in August 2018. 87 points

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
