Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Bright ripe and jammy fruit notes, especially cherry, along with an herbal note similar to an Italian bitter or amaro. The ripasso method bulked up the tannins and enhanced the potent bouquet. Medium in terms of acid, tannin, and body, very approachable. Awesome food wine, perfectly suited to hearty pasta, roasted veal, or Parmigiano-Reggiano.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dried fruit, slightly perfumy nose. Fruit on the palate carries from the start through the medium finish. Nicely balanced & structured. On the lighter, feminine end of the Ripasso spectrum. Try it with pasta with spicy sauce. Tasted April 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
