A robust, lively Niagara red wine that's a blend of Cabernet and Merlot grapes. Terrific price for this quality. Aromas of fleshy ripe black plums and berries on the nose and palate. Pair with grilled meats or a steak.

Cabernet Merlot food pairings: Italian-style pastas, grilled meats, pizza, grilled vegetables, stuffed peppers.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Aromas of tart cherry, strawberry, blueberry, and a hint of vanilla. Smooth on the palate, with a lot of those tart berry flavours and a warm hint of vanilla coming through t=on the finish. Enjoy with hearty meat or vegetarian stews or a hearty bolognese sauce.
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Faint aromas of blueberry and cherry on the nose and is medium-bodied of the palette with flavours of tart cherry, cedar and leather with moderate to high tannins.

Suggested pairing would be tomato-based pasta dishes or a roast.
