Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Loved tasting this rich and succulent robust Mendoza red blend. Great heavy bottle holding this beauty. Made with fruit grown at 3200 ft elevation and barrel aged 12 months. Lively with mouthwatering acidity, ripe dark plum, tangy black currant, black liquorice, savoury and a hint of black olive. Pairs well with Mexican beef fajitas, Belizean tacos, Argentinian empanadas. Tasted 2015 vintage in January 2019 after 2h decant. 91 points. Great value.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A lovely and robust blend of 72% Malbec, 22% Cabernet sauvignon and 6% Merlot. Aromas of black currant, blackberry, smoke, leather and a hint of an earthy, savoury note. Full bodied with bright acidity, ripe black fruit on the palate with almost a hint of saline, smoke and leather. Enjoy with a grilled steak.
