Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A medium to full bodied Australian red that has a very fragrant nose and displays great fruit - candied cherry, plum and currants, dried herbs, leather and licorice. It is very well balanced with lingering tart cherry on the finish. A perfect pairing with lasagna.
The Merlot wine grapes for this spicy, oaky red are estate grown. Pepper tree (2014) is from the Wrattonbully are in South Australia. The wine is medium bodied with red berry and black fruit flavours. Pair with meaty stews. Drink now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
