Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Splendid wine from the Rioja valley in Spain, the Ontanon Reserva 2011 offers aromas of dried blueberry, fig, mustard seed, pastrami, parmesan cheese, vanilla and cedar. Blended from 95% Tempranillo and 5% Graciano, the wine sows a medium body, a delicate balance and a dry finish - perfect for food pairing. Palate: sour cherry, tart plum, bay leaf, volcanic rock, cigar box, dill, wood burner and cedar. Enjoy.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
