Superb, toasty and robust sparkling wine with zesty notes of green apple and baked bread. Complex and layered and creamy yet with a mature nuance that makes this Champagne fascinating and so different from the Non-Vintage variety. Soft citrus, ripe stone fruit and a toasty flavours on the palate are matched by racy acidity. Disgorged February 2017. Lovely now and for the next 10 years.
Champagne food pairings: pasta with cheese-based sauce, caviar, lobster thermidor, sushi.

Reviews and Ratings
|Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:|
Crafted from a blend of 50% Pinot Noir,Chardonnay 36%, Meunier 14%. Crisp and delicate with notes of peaches, apricots, vanilla and hints of roses. Nuts, citrus and baguette added and palate. Rich and creamy with persistent fine mousse, excellent acidity and lingering elegant finish. You could cellar this for up to 7 years...but life is short ...why not enjoy it now? Pair with a big celebration.
Tasted Dec. 2018
|Greg Hughes rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:|
Moet and Chandon are synonymous with quality sparkling. You have to taste their vintage cuvees to really get a feel for why.
This one is high toned and has all of its fingers and toes.
Pale straw; super young still.
Decently effervescent, look for aromas of subtle baking bread and autolytic smokiness - just a whiff.
Lots of fruit too. Aromas and flavours of zesty lemon, green apple, acacia honey, and a touch of candied pineapple.
Pair it with some oysters. If you are Canadian, try some quality Raspberry Point oysters.
