Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

The Sa’Solin Valpolicella Ripasso has a pleasing tawny color and aromas of dried prune, dill, pepper with a shade of lavender. It reveals tastes of tart plum, crushed almond and a leathery finish. The Corvina grape provides nice acidity and a medium body. This sipper will be at its best with a meaty pizza, or on its own on a cozy weekend afternoon. Enjoy.

Jason Beggs rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

This very dry red wine is very nice. Pencil shavings, graphite, cedar and a hint of sulpher on the nose. When tasting it has an immediate herbs and tart cranberry-cherry flavour. Over half an hour or so, it opens up it mellows with flavours of dried plum and fig as well as raisin. This is a nice wine to have with food, notably with a pasta with spicy tomato and salty pecorino romano or parmigiano-reggiano cheese. It would go equally well with any dish with pork products like bacon or bone in pork chops.
