Reviews and Ratings

Cherie Cole rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This full-bodied Chardonnay from Monterey County, California was aged in French oak. It has a luscious and buttery mouthfeel with aromas of baked apple pie, vanilla and pineapple. The aromas are repeated on the palate with a long, mineral and lemon finish. Pair with roasted chicken or pork roast. Tasted Summer 2017.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of golden apple, pear, butterscotch and toffee. Smooth on the palate with caramel notes on the palate, and a hint of warm spice on the finish. Enjoy with chicken or creamy pasta dishes.
Mer Soleil Reserve is a lush and full-bodied Chardonnay from the Santa Lucia Highlands, Monterey County, California. Rich on the nose with golden apple, pear, butterscotch and toffee aromas. Smooth on the palate with ripe red apple, lemon pudding, vanilla, caramel notes on the palate and a hint of warm spice on the finish.
