Excellent value for this Australian Shiraz! Toasty oak and black fruit on the nose and palate. Full-bodied and smooth. Pair with meat lovers' pizza tonight.

Reviews and Ratings

Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The McWilliams Hanwood EstateShiraz 2013 is good value wine. Features aromas and flavours of dark fruit, cherry, and spice. Would pair nicely with game meat. Tasted on February 1, 2014. (89/100)
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Surprisingly deep aromas in a wine of this price, including savoury herbs, cigar box, and dark fruits. The taste is dark and fruity with a little oak showing in the taste, as well as a little soft tannin. Quite an impressive wine for the price.
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Medium ruby, plummy, baking spice, chocolate and some green herb. Soft and silky, slightly sweet with plummy/cherry fruit, vanilla and spice. Made in a commercial crowd pleasing style for sipping or with burgers.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
