a very classical top notch chianti, with aromas of polished wooden bookcases, expensive cigars, and grandfather clock gravely ticking in the library of an english countryside estate.Surprisingly, it is quite lively and fresh on the palate, and full bodied at the same time.With its aromas of dried.fruits and spices, it is a great companion for winter fares and slow cooked meats. Cassoulet,anyone?

Classic Chianti? Look no further! Dried cranberry, figs, earthy notes and mix of dried herbs (particularly sage) and some chocolate notes come through on the palate. Medium- light tannins balance with a medium to high acidity make for a great balance! Medium bodied and a luscious earthy cranberry finish.
Pair with a rustic tomato, prosciutto mozzerella Neapolitan pizza.

Nov 22, 2014: Medium ruby, red berry, black cherry, plummy, toasted oak, baking spice, leather/tobacco and dusty mineral. Medium body, cherry, spice, firm dusty tannins balanced by juicy acidity. Tasted alongside lasagna with rich meat/sausage sauce. Nice now, but will likely improve in complexity over the next couple of years to the end of decade.

Deep ruby red colour. Nose displays tart cherry, black berry, anise, with a touch of tar. Full bodied with great acidity and integrated tannins. A wine that's meant to be paired with rich food. It's loaded with dark berries, clove, pepper, and leather. Pair this big refreshing red with rich meat lasagne or ossobucco to create the perfect Italian pairing.
