Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Medium lemon colour with green reflections. Compelling aromas of green apple, pineapple, tropical fruit, and hints of lychee and pine nuts on the nose. Flavours of tart green apple skins, starfruit, and steely minerals. High acidity, medium minus body and finish with scrumptious tart kiwi and grapefruit pith. Dry, crisp and delicious. Pair with smoked salmon, herb crusted chèvre and sashimi.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Pale yellow straw coloured, this Sauvignon Blanc leans to the gooseberry, stone fruit end of the Sauvignon Blanc spectrum. Some herbalness in the background but gooseberry is the dominant feature on the nose and palate. Lovely round mouth feel. Medium weight, medium finish. Would complement fish or any lemon savoury dishes.
Le Domaine Saget (2014) is a Pouilly-Fumé from the Loire wine region. Love the smoke, flint and steely nature of this wine. Look for green apple, zesty citrus fruit on this well-structure and vibrant fumé. Could benefit from a couple of years in cellar. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
