Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Stellenbosch is a wonderful place to explore wine tourism. The surrounding landscape is dramatic and the wineries are old (for the new world, anyway) and have lots of history.
The colour is deep lemon/green
The flavours have lots of honey, clotted cream, and juicy apple on the nose. Gorgeous!
The flavours are rich and tropical - with a seam of malolactic gravitas.  Lemon curd and heavy cream. Lanolin, and honey on the midpalate.
This wine could keep for a few years. It has the guts - acidity and a concentration of flavours that would be fascinating to follow.
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This South African Stellenboch area oaked Chardonnay has a beautiful pale gold colour with floral and vanilla notes. Flavours of apple and lemon accentuate the finish. Great with poultry or on its own.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Crisp yellow apple, butter, and honey aromas with a taste of apple, pear, and a touch of lemon. Medium acidity, and a smooth, slightly oily mouth-feel.
