The 2018 Lakeview Cellars Kerner comes from fruit grown in the tiny 5-acre Morgan Vineyard and is a very limited production wine. The German Kerner grape is a cross of Riesling and Trollinger grapes. Look for notes pineapple and lychee. Pair this wine with shellfish.

Kerner food pairings: pasta and a white wine cream sauce, fresh steamed shellfish, grilled chicken.

Seemingly light on the nose, but with tons of flavour on the palate. Aromas include peach, apricot and lime zest, Medium+ bodied, smooth and luscious, with lots of ripe fruit and a zesty mineral and citrus finish. Enjoy with rich white fish dishes.

Medium straw color. Citrus on the nose with lime, grapefruit and some floral hints. Medium body and medium acidity. Some peach and citrus on the palate with herbal notes. Medium finish. Works well with soft cheeses or on its own.
