Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

With a colour reminiscent of lemon chiffon pie in a glass, this mouth watering Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc from Hawke's Bay, New Zealand is dry, has delicate bubbles, and can be enjoyed on its own or with food.

The bouquet releases notes of fresh pear, pastry crust, lychee, citrus, and chives. It's light to medium bodied on the palate with notes of passion fruit, lemon, herbs, and delicate floral undertones seeping through.

Tempura fried asparagus would make an excellent pairing, or try with spinach quiche, or fish in a light lemon sauce.
