Bodious, buttery and blousey with butterscotch and golden apples on the nose of this robust Australian Chardonnay. Great price. The higher altitude of the Adelaide Hills makes it a cool climate with a long, slow ripening season that produces crisp white wines. This wine is oak fermented which gives it a toasty note. Pair with grilled chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: roast chicken, pan-seared swordfish or vegetarian dishes..

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A crisp, cool-climate style of Chardonnay from Adelaide Hills in South Australia. Lots of citrus lemon zest, peach and toasted nuts aromas and flavours. Terrific value in this food-friendly, medium-bodied Chard, so grab a few bottles while it's on sale to stock up for the holiday season.

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Golden apple skins, mango tropical fruit, banana peels and some soft touches of smoke. Flavours show pineapples, green pears and comprehensive soft cedar-influences with delicate, restrained characteristics. Acidity and minerality is nicely balanced. A seafoods best friend! This needs Mussels in a cream wine sauce with buttered crostini for dipping, or seared scallops and onions. Enjoy! 88 points- tasted July 2018
