Cedar and earthy on the nose. Dry with strong tannins and cassis flavours . Would be great with steak!
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Sweet jammy cassis, black cherry, and plum with strong blackcurrant leaf and herbaceous aromas. Big tannins, nicely structured. Black fruits and herbaceous notes replay through the palate and finish. Enjoyable with blue cheese burgers or braised lamb.
Irony 2016 is a small-lot Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon from North Coast, California. Made by third generation winemakers, Jay and Chris Indelicato, this Cab is dry, full-bodied and deep ruby in the glass with plum, black cherry, raspberry, mint and dark chocolate flavours on the palate. Enjoy with grilled meats. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
