Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A juicy, full-bodied old vine Garnacha from Spain's Calatayud D.O. Ripe clusters chosen from these old vines result in a wine with greater depth and intensity of flavour. Aromatic ripe cherries and dark plums on nose and palate, with delicious touches of mocha and white pepper. Enjoy with lamb burgers. Excellent value.

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous label but so-so wine. It's got way too much sweetness going on (Spanish cousin of Apothic maybe?) Aromas show prominent blueberry, cherry, cassis, fruit-forward notes. Flavours are jammy and fruitilicious. An approachable wine for casual wine drinkers and crowd-pleasing party red wine. Tasted March 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
