The 2015 vintage is a robust blend of blend of 36% Cabernet Franc, 34% Merlot and 24% Malbec grapes. Loaded with ripe black fruit and smoke. The wine is aged 20 months in French oak barrels. The grapes are sourced from organically certified, estate vineyards. Aromas of dark red berries and black plum. Decant 1-2 hours. Perfect for grilled meats.

Food pairings: braised meats, herbed steaks, venison.

Reviews and Ratings

From Beamsville Bench, Niagara Escarpment wine region, Hidden Bench Terroir Caché 2015 is a full-bodied and unfiltered red wine blend of 36% Cabernet Franc, 34% Merlot and 24% Malbec. Look for juicy blackberry fruit, earthy florals, vanilla and spicy flavours on the palate. Quite elegant with good acidity for food and fine, firm tannins. Nicely done. Enjoy now and for the next five years. Pair with grilled meats. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
